Abstract

The research has examined how poverty influences the literary abilities and registration patterns of students in Pakistan’s poorest region Balochistan. The province of Balochistan suffers from substantial socio-economic issues that cause poverty while blocking access to quality educational opportunities despite possessing many natural resources. Economic factors together with institutional and social components from poverty create barriers for school enrollment which in turn decrease literacy levels especially within rural locations. Qualitative and quantitative research methods analyzed registration obstacles that include monetary limitations together with cultural restrictions and inadequate educational facilities. The research has demonstrated that poverty creates major difficulties which prevent poor families from sending children to school. The educational challenges become more severe due to gender disparities because poverty affects girls more negatively than boys. Research results demonstrated that Balochistan needs poverty reduction initiatives and better educational systems and gender equality initiatives to improve its school rates and literacy levels.
